Michael Bauccio is the Chief Operating Officer of Bon Appétit Management Company. He began his food service career in 1967 with Saga Corporation's Education Division. In 1980 he was named Senior Vice President with responsibility for all 250 higher education accounts west of the Mississippi.
Following the Marriott acquisition of Saga in 1986, Michael was promoted to Division Vice President overseeing 300 college and university campuses, private preparatory schools, and stadium operations as well as field support staff in the areas of sales, marketing, recruiting and finance.
In 1988, Michael launched Bon Appétit's Education Division. In his current role, Michael operates all of Bon Appétit's business divisions - education, corporate and specialty restaurants and museums as well as directing support personnel in marketing, culinary development, recruiting and finance.
Michael graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
